Paniyaram or Rice balls is a crispy and soft balls made up of fermented rice and lentil batter.It is famous Indian cuisine orinally from South india.

Ingredients

Idli rice – 2 cups
Urad dal – ½ cup
Fenugreek seeds – 1 tbsp

Method:
Soak all the three ingredients in water for 5 hours and blend it with blender or wet grinder till nice paste.
Watch video to know how to use wet grinder for grinding dosa, Idli, batter .
Then transfer it to big wide opened vessel and allow it to ferment for 8 hours.
Once it is fermented, then transfer it to air tight container and store in refrigerator.
Whenever you want to make paniyaram, take require amount of batter and add salt to it.
Now place paniyaram maker on stove. Once it is hot, apply oil or ghee  to each paniyaram surface and pour batter into it.




Once you are done with adding batter to all paniyaram surface,let it to cook for 2-3 minutes.
Once you see small bubbles appearing on the top, flip it to another side, cook for another 3 minutes.
You could flip them both side again and again till they are golden brown to get crispy paniyaram.
Then transfer it to plate and enjoy with sambar and any chutney of your choice.
